Dauda Mansaray, Founder and Executive Director:
Dauda Mansaray is a visionary leader driven by a deep-rooted passion for social justice and community empowerment. Born and⁸ raised in Sierra Leone amidst hunger, lack, and deprivation, Dauda experienced firsthand the challenges faced by vulnerable communities. Determined to create positive change, he founded Harvesting Hope Sierra Leone with the mission to eradicate hunger, alleviate poverty, and empower communities across Sierra Leone.
With a wealth of experience in community development and advocacy, Dauda leverages his personal journey and professional expertise to spearhead impactful initiatives that address the root causes of poverty and food insecurity. His tireless dedication to uplifting the lives of the most marginalized populations has earned him recognition as a catalyst for change in Sierra Leone and beyond.
Under Dauda's leadership, Harvesting Hope Sierra Leone has implemented a wide range of programs and projects aimed at improving food security, promoting sustainable agriculture, and empowering women and youth. From innovative agricultural training initiatives to advocacy campaigns for policy change, Dauda continues to lead Harvesting Hope Sierra Leone with unwavering commitment and determination.

Amadu Mansaray, Country Director:
Amadu Mansaray is a dedicated professional with a diploma in Computer Science and currently pursuing a BSc. in Public Sector Management. With experience as a Data Entry Manager, Program Officer, and Field Officer, he has honed his skills in data organization, community engagement, and empowerment initiatives. Amadu is passionate about leveraging his educational background and work experience to contribute to sustainable development and effective governance practices. As the Country Director of Harvesting Hope Sierra Leone, Amadu brings a diverse skill set and a drive to make a positive impact in society, aligning with the organization's mission to eradicate hunger, alleviate poverty, and empower communities across Sierra Leone.
Hi, I'm David Kamara
About Me
David Kamara, Program Coordinator:
David Kamara is an enthusiastic, result oriented, self-motivated, responsible human right, youth, climate, Gender and Peace Activist and community development practitioner with closed to eight years work experience in mobilization, advocacy, program management and monitoring and evaluation of various interventions and projects aimed at promoting women, children and youth socio-economic empowerment, mental health and peace building. He has demonstrated success in program management, capacity building, counselling, mentoring, field work and effective communication with teams and beneficiaries. He has a proven ability to be adaptable in challenging situations and work well under pressure while keeping deadlines in mind.
He has served in many capacities across institutions, including but not limited to the following: Project Officer, Sierra Leone Diamond Kids Foundation, Program Officer, Community Organization for Mobilization and Empowerment-SL , National Youth Leader, Sierra Leone Adult Education Association, District Coordinator, Civil Society Youth Forum-Bo. Also, David Kamara is participating in several international development platforms such as, the Africa Matters Ambassadors Program, Aspire Leaders Program, Commonwealth Gender Equality Network, World Summit Award Ambassador Youth Network.

Anthonette Massah L. Kamara, Administrative Assistant and Finance Officer:
Anthonette Kamara is a graduate with B.Sc. Hons in Social Work from Njaala University-Sierra Leone. She is a passionate Social Worker with keen interest in research, counselling and advocacy on gender sensitive and youth empowerment initatives. Whilst pursuing her studies, she gained wealth of experience working as a volunteer with many gender and youth-serving agencies in Sierra Leone. Her commitment is rooted from her deep desire to empower vulnerable women and girls, ensuring they realise their full potential as right holders. After graduation, she worked as Program Manager with community Youth-Net for Gender Justice and Inclusive Development (CYNGJID). With strong capacity building experience, Anthonette has expanded her frontiers in diverse program areas, including resource mobilization and finance management.
